PD week 2...interesting footage shown by Suzanne to remind us of the amount of technology we can use to make a motivating story writing lesson. Looked back on the results to the questionaire given last week about our teaching practices. Interesting results.

First day of literacy PD. Have found the session very helpful and have read an informative reading by Murray Gadd. Some of the information in the reading is stuff we have heard before...it has been good to have it reiterated and reminds me of parts of teaching writing that I don't always use and will endeavour to do so this coming term. I have a new age group to teach this year so I am looking forward to using this PD with my new children. Nice to know that the staff are on the same track.
